Adventures in Homebrewing of Michigan is looking to hire an entry-level Front of House / Retail Clerk to help us provide excellent customer service by addressing the customer's needs, keep track of inventory and fill online orders. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FRONT OF HOUSE / RETAIL CLERK

As a Front of House / Retail Clerk, you are the lifeblood of our retail business. As a company, we take pride in our customer service, at the core of which is customer service. With the latest computerized warehouse management system as your main tool, you will help the customer get the right products to make their brew day awesome. Sometimes this includes creating minor assemblies, measuring and weighing product, and preparing materials in other ways.

You are very organized and take customer service seriously. You are meticulous about tracking inventory and ensuring that stock is ready for customer purchase. You also ensure that an adequate inventory is maintained at all times while maintaining a clean, orderly sales floor that conforms to all safety standards. You like that you get to keep busy with a variety of tasks throughout the day including restocking shelves, talking about Beer and Wine, pairing Yeast and Hops with Beer and Wine styles and learning all about the newest gadgets and ingredients in brewing. You will love talking about Beer and Wine!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FRONT OF HOUSE / RETAIL CLERK

• No direct experience is necessary!
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to spend several hours at a time on your feet
• Ability to operate various tools including hand drills, pop rivet tools, and pallet jacks
• Willingness to work weekends

Some knowledge of Point of Sale Systems would be helpful, but we can train the right person! Knowledge of All-Grain Brewing would be a plus! Do you take constructive criticism well? PART-TIME TO FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE

This is an entry-level, part-time position that may become full-time after 90 days. FRONT OF HOUSE / RETAIL CLERK employees don't work every weekend, but weekend work is required.
