Adventures in Homebrewing of Michigan is looking to hire an entry-level part-time Shipping / Warehouse Clerk to help us keep track of inventory and fill online orders. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SHIPPING / WAREHOUSE CLERK

As a Shipping / Warehouse Clerk, you are the lifeblood of the 80% of our business that takes place online. As a company, we take pride in our customer service, at the core of which is the speed and accuracy of order fulfillment. With the latest computerized warehouse management system as your main tool, you pick customer orders from the warehouse and pack them with care. Sometimes this includes creating minor assemblies, measuring and weighing product, and preparing materials in other ways.

You are very organized and take efficient order fulfillment seriously. You are meticulous about tracking inventory and ensuring that stock is ready for orders. You also ensure that an adequate inventory of shipping materials is maintained at all times while maintaining a clean, orderly work area that conforms to all safety standards. You like that you get to keep busy with a variety of tasks throughout the day including operating various hand tools and pallet jacks. You get great satisfaction out of keeping everything in order and making sure that our customers get on-time delivery of the right items for homebrewing in perfect condition!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SHIPPING / WAREHOUSE CLERK

• No direct experience is necessary!
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to spend several hours at a time on your feet
• Ability to operate various tools including hand drills, pop rivet tools, and pallet jacks
• Willingness to work weekends

Some knowledge of freight and shipping procedures would be helpful, but we can train the right person! Knowledge of UPS/USPS online software would be a plus! Do you take constructive criticism well? PART-TIME TO FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE

This is an entry-level, part-time position that may become full-time after 90 days. Warehouse employees don't work every weekend, but weekend work is required.
